Uxbridge Scottish Festival

The 2024 Uxbridge Scottish Festival has invited members of the Canadian Scottish Terrier Club to exhibit their Scotties and to participate in the Parade of Scottish Dog Breeds on July 27, 2024 at Elgin Park in Uxbridge, Ontario.

The Uxbridge Scottish Festival is a gathering of Scottish events such as:
– Pipe Bands
– Highland Dance Competition
– Scottish Breed Dogs Area (Meet lots of Scottish Dog breeds)
– Demonstration of Scottish Dog Agility Skills
– Parade of Scottish Dog Breeds
– Canine Musical Mats
– Heavy Games Events
– Live Bandshell Entertainment
– Clan Information
– Performers
– Food Vendors

The Canadian Scottish Terrier Club has been an active participant in this event for several years and it is a fun, social event with many Scottish dog breeds each having their own tent areas. Festival attendees can walk around the park meet the breeds, and learn about the various Scottish dog breeds. Scotties are always a favourite! It is held at Elgin Park, a wonderful tree-shaded park, just outside of Uxbridge, Ontario. For anyone wishing to set up a tent and make a day of it, the Park opens at 8:00 AM, you must enter the Park by 9:30 AM to get free exhibitor parking (closest to the Dog area). Entry after 9:30 AM, is by Donation and parking will be considerably farther away from the Exhibitor area. Entrance to Elgin Park is via Elgin Park Dr on the South side of Elgin Park.
